MEDIA PASSES:

• Media passes are limited to outlets with over 6,000 social media followers. Each qualifying outlet may receive up to two 1-day passes. Outlets must publish an article about the event prior to its start and one after.

VIP Pass Holders Perks:

• VIP pass holders will enjoy 30 minutes early entry each day of the event.

 

Vendor Setup Information:

• Setup Time: Vendor setup is scheduled for Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• Check-In: A Milwaukee Horror Con representative will be available for check-in starting at 8:00 AM on Friday.

• Electrical Needs: If you require electricity, please bring your own power strips and extension cords.

• Late Arrival Policy: Vendors who do not complete their setup on Friday will not be allowed to set up on Saturday, and their booth space will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued.

• Parking and Aisles: Please ensure that your vehicle is parked in designated areas to keep aisles clear for other vendors.

• Security: We are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen property. Please take precautions to secure your belongings.

• Children: Children aged 12 and under must be supervised at all times. Parents or guardians are responsible for their children throughout the event.

 

Vendor Load-out Information:

• We do not allow early tear down and early load out as ticket buyers are expecting to see all vendors presents as well as guest when and of applicable. 

• Load out time begin after ballroom is cleared at 5pm Sunday afternoon only. Please follow the same rules applied for load in if vending at our event.

 

Important Notes:

• Tables are only reserved once payment is made in full.

• Your table is guaranteed upon receipt of both full payment and the signed vendor contract.

 

Reminder:

• Spaces are limited, and tables will sell out quickly. We will not offer vendor space to those whose products or services do not align with the genre-specific interests of our attendees (e.g., "home siding" or "car insurance" vendors). Secure your spot today!

 

Wi-Fi:

• Wi-Fi is available for free per hotel. If you need larger voltage please contact us for fee charge.

 

Sales Tax and Credentials:

• Vendors selling at this event must be registered for a sales tax permit and comply with local sales tax requirements.

Vendor Terms and Conditions – Milwaukee Horror Con​

​

1. General Terms: This Agreement outlines the responsibilities and requirements of exhibitors and dealers (hereinafter referred to as “Dealer”) during Milwaukee Horror Con from [Event Dates] at [Event Venue] (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”).

​

2. Liability and Indemnification:

• Dealer assumes full responsibility for any claims arising from the display or sale of their services or products. Dealer agrees to hold Milwaukee Horror Con and the Hotel harmless and indemnify them from any such claims, including any resulting liabilities.

• Dealer agrees that the display and sale of items or services shall not cause damage to the Hotel property. Any damage to the Hotel or other properties associated with the event will be the sole responsibility of the Dealer, who agrees to indemnify Milwaukee Horror Con and the Hotel from any related claims or liabilities.

• Milwaukee Horror Con and the Hotel shall not be responsible for any lost, misplaced, or stolen items, nor for any claims or liabilities resulting from such losses.

• Dealer acknowledges that Milwaukee Horror Con and the Hotel are not liable for any injury sustained by the Dealer, their employees, or their agents.

 

3. Insurance Coverage:

• Dealers acknowledge that Milwaukee Horror Con, its staff, and the Hotel will not provide or maintain insurance coverage for Dealers or their property. It is the sole responsibility of the Dealer to obtain insurance for any potential losses.

 

4. Vendor Space and Setup:

• Dealer is not permitted to affix any signs, banners, or displays to any part of the Hotel without prior permission. Damage to Hotel walls, fixtures, or carpet will be the sole responsibility of the Dealer. The Hotel may provide banner hanging services for an additional fee.

• Dealer agrees to clean up any refuse, including zip ties, and maintain the cleanliness of their assigned space.

• Dealer is prohibited from subletting or sharing their space with another Dealer.

 

5. Legal Compliance:

• Dealer must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including municipal ordinances. Milwaukee Horror Con reserves the right to exclude any Dealer for violating any laws or event rules, especially those enacted for the safety and security of other Dealers, attendees, or staff.

• No smoking or vaping is permitted in the Dealer area, and all fire and safety regulations must be strictly followed.

 

6. Content Restrictions:

• The sale of bootleg feature films, illegal, unlicensed, or prohibited merchandise, including food and drink, is strictly prohibited. Dealers are not permitted to promote other Chicago-area genre events without written permission from Milwaukee Horror Con.

• No firearms, replicas, animals (living or dead), or human remains are permitted for sale or display. No animals or pets are allowed at the event.

 

7. Vendor Passes:

• Each vendor is entitled to two (2) vendor passes per table purchased. Additional vendor weekend passes are available at the advance reduced rate of $40.00 each (limit of 4 additional passes). Any additional passes beyond this limit must be purchased at full price. Vendor passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the Dealer and their table assistants.

• Milwaukee Horror Con reserves the right to deny access to any Dealer or assistant who violates the terms of this Agreement or if their participation is deemed detrimental to the event or company. No refunds will be issued if access is denied.

 

8. Refunds and Cancellations:

• Once payment is received, there are no refunds for vendor spaces, except in the event of an event cancellation. If the event is postponed, the vendor’s table will be transferred to the new date or another Milwaukee Horror Con event.

 

9. Vendor Responsibilities:

• The Dealer is responsible for paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and obtaining any licenses required by law for conducting sales at the event.

 

10. Venue Services:

• The Hotel will provide each vendor with one (1) 2 ½’ x 6’ table and two (2) chairs. Any additional setup requirements will incur an extra fee from the Hotel, which must be arranged separately with them. Dealers may purchase Wi-Fi or internet access directly from the Hotel.

 

11. Entire Agreement:

• Both Milwaukee Horror Con and the Dealer acknowledge that this Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. No modifications or waivers will be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Illinois.

12. Sound/Music Levels:

• Vendors are not permitted to play music or other audio at their booths. Please be respectful to the other vendors. Vendors who disrupt other vendors (and or the event) will be removed from the event without a refund.

14: Right of Refusal:
The Milwaukee Horror Con reserves the right to refuse any vendor application or revoke vendor participation at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, cases where vendor content, products, or behavior is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or inconsistent with the event’s theme, mission and values.
